Sterling Heights, summer is about to get a whole lot more ferocious, louder, and heavier!
It’s razor-sharp riffs that can cut through flesh and bone; it’s a full-on attack on the senses with nothing but pure, brutal artistry and musical adrenalin; it’s intensity that pounds in your chest like a heart about to explode with exhilaration; it’s an emotionally kinetic explosion of raw, unhinged energy; it’s music that is much, much bigger, sharper, and angrier than what you could ever have imagined - and it’s yours for the taking!
Metalcore giants Motionless In White have just announced a ruthless new headlining tour set to bring their unique brand of gothic-meets-industrial-meets-metalcore to crowds across North America, and you’re about to get very, very lucky! That’s right, Sterling Heights, Motionless In White is coming to the Freedom Hill Amphitheatre on 15 August 2026 with their ‘The Sweat and Blood Tour’ alongside special guests Lorna Shore, Fit for a King, and Static Dress!
Tickets are flying faster than fingers over a fretboard from as low as $55, so hit that ‘Get Tickets’ button now to get yours!
If you’ve been one of Chris Motionless and his henchmen’s fans, you’ve probably already indulged in their absolutely obliterating new single and video Afraid of the Dark - the perfect fusion of metalcore, gothic overtones, and industrial grit, and underneath it all, a massively uplifting message. If you haven’t heard it yet, do yourself a massive favour and give it a listen - it’s enough to get even the most hardcore naysayer to turn their head in the direction of the dark lords of metalcore’s direction.
The release of Afraid of the Dark went hand-in-hand with the announcement of Motionless In White’s return to the stage for their first headlining tour in nearly three years - one that will see them rip through sets jam-packed with new material from their forthcoming album alongside all the favorites - from Another Life and Masterpiece to Eternally Yours and Cyberhex, from Sign Of Life and Thoughts & Prayers to Voices and Werewolf. The Sweat and Blood Tour is slated to descend upon major North American venues from mid-July 2026 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, rolling into major cities such as Charlotte, Austin, Los Angeles, Auburn, Oklahoma City, and Indianapolis, before wrapping up in your neck of the woods in mid-August 2026.
Since they first broke into the scene in the early noughties with their debut studio album When Love Met Destruction, Motionless In White’s following around the world has been steadily growing. Right now, they have over 5.3 million monthly listeners on Spotify and over 1.27 million subscribers on YouTube, all indulging in the industrial grooves and thundering intensity Chris Motionless and his tribe bring to the table.
Motionless In White will be supported on tour by New Jersey deathcore band Lorna Shore, best known for face-melters such as To the Hellfire, Into the Earth, and Sun/Eater, alongside American Christian metalcore giants Fit for a King, armed with their back catalogue featuring smashers such as The Price of Agony and Breaking the Mirror, and the West Yorkshire-based creators of hits such as Courtney, just relax and fleahouse - Static Dress.
The iconic Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre, situated at Freedom Hill, is about to be shaken in its foundations with raw metal-thunder - and this is only one of the off-the-charts kind of events the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre hosts annually. All the major touring bands make stops here, so if you’re after something that will give you that post-show buzz, the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre is it! The venue boasts top-tier sound and lighting systems, great natural acoustics, and fantastic amenities, alongside room for up to 7,200 concertgoers spread across a general admission pit, canopied reserved seating area, VIP boxes, and a massive general admission lawn.
