BEFORE I FORGET…

Well, before we forget, this tour is all about his new album “Before I Forget,” a deeply personal break up record that strikes all the feels, navigating his emotional fallout of his split with Tate McRae. Within the fan community, the album is known as a massive shift from his entirely different project “WATCH THIS!” — featuring the lead single “All I Want Is You” which dropped in June 2025. After two more singles, the era was abruptly concluded following his split with McRae, and the singer scrapped the entire record and began recording “Before I Forget,” packed with emotional tracks straight from his heart. About the sudden change, “I didn't feel comfortable releasing it,” he shared with Variety about his supposed release. Three months after they parted ways, “I knew exactly what I wanted to say and how I felt.”

His new album came out in January 9th of 2026, and hit #6 on the Billboard 200. This marks his second top-ten entry on the prestigious chart. Since his mainstream success with “Stay” — a collaborative track with Justin Bieber, the man persisted and kept taking out all his raw feelings in his emotive, energy-packed, and captivating tracks. 

Only 22, he has surely been through a lot, and has shown how much talent and heart he has for sick music. With a new project which he describes as “my favorite thing I’ve ever made,” he’s tackled breaking points, closure, and moving on, in a package that’s served with 80s-inspired synths and 2000s vibes of R&B.
