Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill
Billy Currington & Kip Moore are teaming up for this live in concert tour in 2026, and one of the very few stops on this unique road trip is at the Freedom Hill Amphitheatre on Saturday, 22nd August 2026. Currington is coming into this road trip with a recent album titled King Of The World. You can expect him to include plenty of those tracks in his own set. Meanwhile, Kip Moore has cemented quite a few tracks in country lore over the years.
Kenny Whitmire is the opening act for this stop at the Freedom Hill Amphitheatre. Bring the tissues because his flagship track, "I Gave Her The Moon," really cuts deep. This year, Billy Currington & Kip Moore are back on the road together, and yet for whatever reason, they haven't found the time to share the studio and produce a track that features both of their voices. That doesn't mean that they don't share the stage at certain points during this Live Concert Tour, but it is kind of odd that they've been on tour together at least three times, and they don't have a go-to song that they perform together. In any case, the reason why they keep pairing up is that they have a blast at these live performances. That's something that permeates the audience who recognize that good ol' country boy vibe.
Kip Moore's "Somethin' 'Bout a Truck" is one of those tracks that every country fan has in at least one of the regular playlists they play at parties. When it comes on, the crowd goes wild. Meanwhile, those effects on the Billy Currington side could be achieved by something like "People Are Crazy." In the past, with these dual-headlining efforts, fans were treated to two extended sets from each of these guys. You're truly getting two concerts for the price of one. This is not like at a festival where artists sing 3 or 4 songs tops and call it a night.
The vibe at this venue is going to be unmatched! Make sure that you bring your hat and boots to the party because you're going to need them. At the same time, finding spots at the front of the theater could put you in the best position for some good ol' slow dancin'. At the same time, if you're looking for deals, the back of the amp could be great to just be out here vibing to the music and having a blast.
