Bryson Tiller is back and he’s better than ever. The Grammy-nominated artist announced on Tiller Tuesday (March 19th) that he’s releasing a brand new album, marking his fourth studio album release. The album, aptly titled ‘Bryson Tiller’ will be out on the 5th of April via RCA Records.
Fans are ecstatic about this since it’s been four years since his last studio album was released. If you all remember his last album, “Anniversary,” then you know it was an absolute banger. It reached No. 4 on Billboard‘s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and No. 5 on the Billboard 200. Non-coincidentally, “Anniversary” was released on the fifth anniversary of his critically acclaimed debut album “Trapsoul.”
The album and the tour aren’t the only things Bryson dropped on Tiller Tuesday though. He also treated fans to the forthcoming album’s first official single, “Calypso.” The track was released a month after his last single “Whatever She Wants.” The latter track was initially released in November as part of his SoundCloud-exclusive Slum Tiller mixtape series - a series of songs he drops on “Tiller Tuesdays.”
Bryson Tiller made the decision to officially release “Whatever She Wants” after it gained a lot of traction. Since then, it’s proven to be a commercial success. It just hit a new No. 19 peak on the Billboard Hot 100 and a new No. 8 peak on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. This is a major milestone for the singer as it’s his first time hitting the top 10 on the Hot Rap Songs chart.
His upcoming tour is produced by Live Nation. The first stop of the tour will be in Portland before hitting major cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Atlanta and more. More importantly is the fact that he’s stopping right here in Sterling Heights, Michigan!
